Reality TV

Real or not? Do you think your life is really that interesting? But you know, the American public is addicted to reality TV even though what you see is not always truth. No matter what the genre of the show is, there are always countless hours of editing put in to actually "creating" the show. What we think are real people doing real things are often times staged in the filming and then manipulated through editing. For example, a family friend who is an editing producer of Bravo TV told me that in The Real Housewives of New Jersey, they had to really dig through the footage to make Jacqueline look nice. The truth is, no one's life is really that interesting.
